Preference will be given to Lotus Cars, British Cars and Vintage Race Cars. Room permiting, other marques will be allowed. We strive to make our track day special.

Club Lotus Northwest gears its track day for experienced drivers, fast street cars, race cars and Lotus cars. To this end, the program will include Intermediate, Advanced and Race Car Sessions. CLNWÂ will have a drive the next day, Saturday May 29th 2010. It will start with a garage tour at 8:00am at Mark Viskov's house ( info. below ), then we will leave for the drive at 9:00am. We will end up at the Highland Still House (Â www.highlandstillhouse.com ) in Oregon City for lunch.Â

Sunday July 23rd through the 25th
Club Lotus Northwest, The Evergreen Lotus Club and the Lotus Car Club of British Columbia are joining together to attend the WWABFM in Belvue, WA.
This is a GREAT event with several CLNW members going for several years and turn it into a mini summer vacation.
Mark Velky will lead a caravan up on Friday morning. We will meet at the first north bound rest area on I-5 in Washington at 10:00am. This is to avoid as much of the afternoon Seattle rush hour traffic as we can. There will be a stop for lunch ( not sure were yet ) and then we will end up at the host hotel were we will be staying Friday and Saturday nights.
On Friday night we will go pick up our registration packets at Park Place Ltd ( www.parkplaceltd.com ) then out  to dinner at The Crab Pot.
Saturday is the ABFM and a dinner with the other two Lotus Clubs. The ELCC will be picking the place for this dinner.
On Sunday we will do some sightseeing in Seattle or a scenic drive back to Portland or both, whatever the group would like to do. You can follow this plan/schedule or use your own and meet up with us when you would like.

Treat your better half to a sumptuous champagne brunch at Skamania Lodge Sunday Aug. 1. $29 each plus tax and tip. Please e mail or call me for reservations by July 25. We will meet at the Pendleton Mills, off Hwy 14, Washougal at 10:30am for the drive to Skamania Lodge. Brunch to be followed by a 1 to 2 hour drive north from Carson on forest road hwy 30. Your spouse/partner puts up with your Lotus fetish all year, they deserve a reward!

Mark MarKell has invited his buddies from the Portland SAE chapter to join us at our next dinner gathering on Tuesday, May 18 at MacTarnahan's. They are interested in seeing and learning about our cars, so please drive your Lotus if you can. If it's in pieces, then bring along some photos of what you are working on. |
