Come up for the day or make a weekend out of it as some of your fellow club members are doing. Join the caravan leaving late Fri. morning and coming back early Sun. evening. The host hotel has a block of rooms set aside until the 10th. Pre-Registration ends on the 18th or you can register on the field the day of the meet. This is a fantastic event!!! My British Car Cruise In & Show is…Saturday July 23rd. The church parking lot is located in a very nice country setting, tons of trees, restrooms are close and there’ll be goodie bags full of free stuff and snacks too! Club Lotus Northwest prides itself on providing a unique track-day experience. One of the foundations of our track-day is limiting the number of registered cars so everyone can have plenty of open track. In order to not lose too much money on the event our choice this year was to raise the admission price for the event or to allow more people to register. After much debate, Club Lotus Northwest has chosen neither of these paths and decided to cancel the event. This was a difficult decision for the club and we apologize for canceling at this late date. We plan to hold our Track-day in the fall. Please watch this space for an announcement.
For the latest info. on the upcoming Three Car Club Drive in Eastern Washington go to (www.strictlybritishmotorclub.org) and click on the (Take KahLotus!) page. This drive will start on Fri. Apr. 29th (late morning) and go through Sun. May 1st (late afternoon) 2011. Highlights of the weekend include: - Fri. late morning/afternoon drive to Richland Wa.. - Fri. night cocktail party at the host hotel. - Sat. morning breakfast/drivers meeting at the host hotel. - The drive itself on great Lotus roads including a group photo and a state park. - Lunch - More great Lotus roads. - Sat. evening wine tasting/hors d’ oeuvres at a local winery. - Sun. afternoon drive to Portland Or.. The CLNW Go Kart Night will take place on Sat. Apr. 2nd 2011 at 5:45pm at Sykart indoor racing center. You need to bring your drivers license, your old Sykart membership card and helmet liner if you still have it. You can bring your own helmet as long as it is full face. We are scheduled for two sessions but can add to that if we want to. After Sykart we will caravan to Dinner/Beverages at John Barleycorns (McMenamins). A Three Car Club Drive with Us and the Seattle area, Evergreen Lotus Car Club (ELCC) and the Tri-Cities Washington area, Strictly British Motor Club (SBMC). This joint event will be a country drive in eastern Washington on Sat. Apr. 30th 2011. The plan is to make this an “overnighter” as we will leave Portland late Fri. morning Apr. 29th 2011.
